1. (lit, formal, contemptuous or jocular) tools for (supposedly) corrupt fun making (ie any device of whatsoever nature and description used solely for corrupt entertainment, amusement and fun) 2. (by extension and contemptuously or jocularly in a religious or quasi-religious context) any device for gambling or for religiously-outlawed fun-making, traditionally also including musical instruments, the latter group having been gradually excluded by sufferance from the classification since the Islamic Revolution in 1979.)
